We are looking for a skilled and analytical Business Analyst to join our team. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in bridging the gap between our business objectives and technical solutions. You will work closely with stakeholders to gather requirements, analyze business processes, and help design solutions that align with the company’s goals. Your insights and analysis will directly influence the direction of projects and ensure that our solutions deliver value to the business.

Responsibilities:

• Requirement Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to understand business needs, gather detailed requirements, and translate them into functional specifications for development teams.
• Business Process Analysis: Analyze current business processes and workflows, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions that enhance efficiency and productivity.
• Documentation: Create clear and concise documentation, including business requirements documents (BRD), functional specifications, use cases, user stories, and process flow diagrams.
• Solution Design: Collaborate with technical teams to design and validate solutions that meet business requirements, ensuring feasibility and alignment with business goals.
• Stakeholder Management: Maintain effective communication with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle, providing updates, managing expectations, and addressing concerns.
• Testing and Validation: Assist in the testing process by reviewing test plans, conducting user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensuring that the delivered solution meets the business requirements.
• Data Analysis: Analyze data to provide insights, identify trends, and support decision-making. Use tools like Excel, SQL, or BI software to generate reports and visualizations.
• Change Management: Support change management efforts by helping to plan, communicate, and implement changes in business processes or systems.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and optimization, and recommend strategies to enhance business performance.

Requirements and skills

• Proven Experience: At least 0 – 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a technology-driven environment.
• Strong Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze complex business processes, identify issues, and propose solutions.
• Excellent Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly articulate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Documentation Skills: Proficiency in creating detailed documentation, including BRDs, functional specifications, and process diagrams.
• Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and propose effective solutions.
• Stakeholder Management: Experience working with multiple stakeholders, managing expectations, and maintaining effective communication.
• Technical Understanding: Basic understanding of software development processes, databases, and system integrations.
• Tools Proficiency: Experience with business analysis tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar. Familiarity with data analysis tools like Excel, SQL, or BI platforms.

Preferred skills

• Industry Knowledge: Experience in the [specific industry, e.g., finance, healthcare, e-commerce] will be an added advantage.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, including writing user stories and participating in sprint planning.
• Project Management: Basic knowledge of project management principles and tools.
• Certification: Professional certification such as CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) or PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
