Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and passionate PHP Developer to join our dynamic team. As a PHP Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining web applications, ensuring their performance, and contributing to the overall design and architecture of our solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure applications that meet business needs.

Key Responsibilities:

•  Develop and Maintain Web Applications: Write clean, well-documented, and efficient PHP code. Build, test, and deploy new features and functionality for web applications.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with front-end developers, designers, and project managers to ensure seamless integration of user-facing elements with server-side logic.
• Database Management: Design and manage databases using MySQL or other relational database management systems (RDBMS). Optimize queries and ensure data integrity.
• Code Review and Testing: Participate in code reviews to ensure adherence to best practices, security standards, and overall code quality. Implement unit and integration tests.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, bugs, and security issues. Provide ongoing support and maintenance for existing applications.
• Stay Updated: Keep up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies in PHP, web development, and related areas.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

•  Proven Experience: At least 2 years of professional experience in PHP development.
• Proficiency in PHP Frameworks: Strong experience with one or more PHP frameworks such as Laravel, Symfony, or CodeIgniter.
• CMS Experience: Hands-on experience with content management systems like WordPress, Drupal, or Joomla.
• Front-End Skills: Basic understanding of front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and AJAX.
• Database Skills: Experience with MySQL, PostgreSQL, or other RDBMS. Ability to write complex SQL queries and optimize them for performance.
• Version Control: Proficiency with Git and understanding of version control workflows.
• Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail.

Preferred Skills:

•  Laravel Experience: Deep understanding of the Laravel framework and its ecosystem (e.g., Eloquent ORM, Blade templating).
• Drupal and WordPress: Experience in developing custom modules and themes for Drupal and WordPress.
• API Development: Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party API integrations.
• Security: Knowledge of common web security vulnerabilities (e.g., XSS, CSRF, SQL injection) and experience in implementing security best practices.
• Agile Methodology: Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.

Educational Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
